John Harrison has worked in the banking industry for over 35 years in both real estate and commercial banking, beginning his career with Lloyds Bank in the East Midlands. During that time he has undertaken several roles including leadership positions in the Midlands, East Anglia and London.

John also spent time heading international business development in the Gulf Region and Hong Kong for a Midlands university, where he was involved in several government delegations to those regions, before returning to industry to oversee a private equity invested confectionery business. John returned to banking with Metro Bank, developing the bank’s footprint and new site in Mayfair, before joining HS Credit to lead the Midlands team.

In his free time he enjoys world-wide travel having visited 42 states in the US, as well as India & Japan. In addition, he runs marathons across the globe, being only the 1,838 person to complete all the majors, which is fewer than the number of people who have climbed Everest.
